Greetings this October 2006
from BELIZEmagazine.com-The Internet Magazine of Belize. In
this Volume three, edition four, we are pleased to have Ms.
Anne D. Hoare, the Executive Director of The Belize Audubon
Society, as our ‘20 Questions’ interview guest.
Our feature of the October 2006 edition takes a look at what
it really takes to give off the beaten path as an adventure
traveller. 'Adventures with Charley
Wolf', a fictional account about Belize based upon news
content gathered throughout the year that looks at the country
from the perspective of a European family that relocates to
the land by the Caribe Sea, has Charley telling about his encounter
with a swarm of flood flies.
'It's a Plant's Life too' checks
in again with Yvonne and Alfredo
Villoria of ‘Dem Dats Doin’. In the 'Happy
Hour-Tropical Cocktails' presented by Travellers Liquors
Ltd., the distillers and distributors of the pride and joy of
Belize 'One Barrell Rum', tells our readers how to mix their
favourite drink. 'Where to Eat in Paradise'
takes us to Don Corleone on Caye Caulker and 'Life’s
a Beach' is true to its word everyday at Barnacle
Bills Beach Bungalows on the Placencia Peninsula in Maya
Beach. A new feature ‘Filmed
in Belize’ provides a excerpt of the movie ‘Mosquito
Coast’ with Harrison Ford, that was filmed on location
in Belize.
