Art by 'Liz', for sale at the Art and Soul, Artist Collective Gallery in Placencia.

In Placencia a group of local artists, both Belizean and other nationalities, formed an art cooperative and put their work on display for sale in a small art gallery along the Placencia sidewalk. The result is another welcomed attraction in the village. The small wooden building is actually an art gallery of local contemporary art with the added value of one of the artist always present for a chat about his or her work.

At the 'Art and Soul, Artist Collective Gallery & Workshop', you might even get a chance to watch an artist adding some finishing touches to a painting on display. The Gallery is located on the sidewalk in Placenica Village, open every day.
